I am a fully trained Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) & a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Honours degree. I am a member of the Driving Instructors Association & have been CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked to ensure that I am a suitable & safe person to be working in this profession.
Beware, a lot of
instructors out there are still training and haven't passed the final
teaching exam to fully qualify as an ADI and most never make it so
eventually give up when their training badge expires or they fail the
exam! Look for a green octagonal badge which shows that the instructor is FULLY qualified. (A pink triangle badge is for a trainee).
I am enthusiastic, friendly, calm and dependable . Many pupils come to my driving school after having bad experiences with other
instructors where they've been shouted at or pushed too fast so their
confidence has taken a bashing. Others have hardly progressed at all and spent much of their lessons only driving 'out-of-town' or simply talking whilst parked up.
Don't worry if you are nervous, I will help you feel at ease and learn to be in control so that you feel much more confident. I enjoy pupils asking (relevant) questions and I have oodles of patience!
